In 1995 the first international gathering of women religious
under the age of 50 took place in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Inspired by that first gathering, Sisters of IHM have been gathering
periodically to discuss issues of importance for their shared
future.
Most recently Sisters gathered at the IHM Center to discuss
models of leadership for the congregation. An article by Ted
Dunn, Ph.D., Circular Models of Leadership: Birthing a New
Way of Being, was used as a springboard for the discussion.
Following the discussion, the group joined the Sisters at Our
Lady of Peace Residence for dinner.
The next gathering of IHM Forward is scheduled for
March 7-9.
