Reflection
Questions:
* What is your personal experience of contemporary religious life?
* How does that differ from when you entered?
* What is your experience of our IHM Congregation now in 2005?
* Are you who you want to be?
* What causes you to continue in this lifestyle?
* What does this mean for your prayer, your relationship with
community? |

If
the weekend is a success...
* it will provide a sense of belonging (a new tribe)
* create a thread of the Spirit
* identify our issues and concerns and allow us to articulate
our vision
* help me to understand that "I need my sisters and my sisters
need me"
* understand the importance of being together
* help to know where people are and what they are thinking
* plan for the future
* build a web of connection and identity
* opportunity to be truthful and real
* increase in respect and appreciation for each one's uniqueness
and what is held in common
* build sisterhood
* get to know each other better
* know what is important to each other
* discover our purpose
* know someone else's passion and be willing to support her and
it

Reflection
and sharing on:
* What is it like for you
to be "on the road"?
* Can you trust an unknown road to a known God?
* What is mutuality like for you? |

Sharing
about...
* What could/would our preferred
future look like?

* What is your dream for the future?
* What skills will the future require of us?

Words
of Wisdom
* Make no judgements.
* This is a time for naming what is.
* Attend to what is happening in you.
* What will be my legacy?
* These are our times. We
were made for these times.
* If I were going under, any one of the women in this room would
pull me up.
* Ask Theresa Maxis, "what would you have
us do?"
* Fear is not the language of the Spirit.
* How are we living the message of Jesus in the spirit of Theresa
Maxis?
* Even if she doesn't know it, the Church needs us.
* To "be" is to mean something to someone else.

create our future together? |

Learnings and next steps...
* What might be some next
steps... for you... for us... for our congregation?
* What were the learnings for you... for us?
* What did you discover, notice about the IHM charism and its
presence in 2005?
* What is the invitation in this for you, for us? |
