Holy Week Services 2005 Sunday arrival & dinner at the IHM Spiritual Renewal Center in Cresco, PA.. Monday Morning Mass & Evening Prayer "Prayer around the Cross" (Tazie) Tuesday: Morning Mass & Evening Prayer "The Seven Sorrows of Mary" Wednesday: Afternoon Mass & Supper of Remembrance where the story of the Passover was told. Appropriate symbols were at the table; this was followed by a lamb dinner. Thursday: Evening Mass began in the conference room where all participated in the Liturgy of the Word and had their feet washed. A procession to the chapel followed for Liturgy of the Eucharist. Exposition followed the Liturgy and lasted until Friday morning after the Liturgy of the Hours was prayed. Several retreatants went to witness the live Stations of the Cross which took place on the streets of Mt. Pocono. Afternoon services began at 3:00 p.m. In the evening we had Tazie prayer. This is always in darkness in the chapel lit only by candlelight. Saturday evening we began our services on the front porch for the lighting of the Fire. All processed to the Chapel in darkness for the Holy Saturday Liturgy. After an inspiring Liturgy all were invited to a social in the conference room.
