San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala

Sisters Donna Korba and Maryalice Jacquinot led a group of Marywood University students on a service trip
to San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala from December 27, 2007 to January 5, 2008

The group lived and worked in the town of San Lucas and participated in hands-on service in coffee picking and production, construction of a women’s center, a reforestation project, and the organization of school supplies for the local children of the town. As part of the experience, the group visited the mission in Chichicastenango as well.

Further Guatemalan service trips are planned for December/January of 2008-2009 and May of 2009.
