Tuesday
of the Fifth Week of Easter
April 26, 2005
Scripture: Acts 14:19-28; John 14:27-31
Reflection:
Paul and Barnabas had their problems as they traveled around spreading
God’s word. They were stoned, dragged out of town, and left
there for dead. Despite all that, they continued to build the
church and spread the good word.
What do we do as we go to our ministry each day? Do we experience
the peace that John speaks of, which the world cannot give?
It will not always be easy; at times we may not understand….
But whatever we do, we can be building the Church in our day.
Suggested Action:
Give the gift of peace today in your way of meeting co-workers,
students, colleagues, strangers, and others.
