Tuesday
of the Second Week of Easter
April 5, 2005
Scripture: Acts 4:32-37; John 3:7B-15
Reflection:
The community of believers in Acts was moved by the Spirit to
live what they believed. Their faith changed how they lived their
lives, how they cared for others.
Nicodemus asks how one can be born again. He lived many years
performing empty ceremonies and fulfilling obligations. Then Nicodemus
encountered Jesus, who did not fit the mold, yet God seemed to
be using him. Letting go of old ideas and old ways is a struggle.
When we allow the Spirit to enter our hearts and move us to action,
new life, rebirth, happens.
Suggested Action:
With a clarity of vision, see God in new ways today.
