Solemnity
of Easter Tuesday
March 29, 2005
Scripture: Acts 2:36-41; John 20:11-18
Reflection:
There are two great messages in these readings:
Over 2000 years ago the Spirit was promised not only to those
alive at that time but also “to all those still far off
whom the Lord our God calls.” That’s who we are. What
a joyful, hopeful message!
Mary Magdalene stood at the empty tomb of Jesus—feeling
empty. When she turned around, the Lord was there waiting for
her. He waits for each one of us. All we have to do is turn around
and look.
Suggested Action:
Make an effort to find Jesus in all those you meet today.
