Scripture: Acts 16:11-15; John 15:26-16:4A
Reflection:
Bearing witness to Jesus is a characteristic of Christians through
the ages. In today’s gospel Jesus tells the disciples that
the Spirit of truth will “testify” to him as will
they, the disciples.
Those who work havoc upon the People of God will do so because
they do not know the Father of Christ. How important for life
choices it is for us to ponder the ways of God, Father, Son, and
Spirit, that we may truly know God and not be led away while we
think we are following God’s way for us.
Suggested Action:
Today try to listen to the Spirit of God deep within as we ponder
these Scripture passages and, in response, give witness to the
presence of God in our midst by spreading the peace the world
cannot give.
