I ask of God to bless me with
a faithful heart, with love to embrace the needs of this world,
with wisdom and knowledge to help me bring the Gospel with all
my being. I ask to follow Jesus with the IHM Spirit and Charism
offering myself entirely to God and God’s Kingdom consecrating
myself as a Sister Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I ask of our Sisters to help
me become a faithful daughter of Mary; to model for me the virtues
of our blessed mother with a joyful, loving service to the people
of God. To help me rely on divine providence and to respond
to the changing needs of the times with the same spirit and
zeal as our first sisters did and to walk with God and one another
in a joyful, loving, hospitable and self-emptying spirit.
I ask of our Church to teach
me and guide me in this journey of consecration, to serve God’s
people with a pure heart, with selfless intention, offering
myself to the spiritual needs, and to help me become a disciple
sent to be a clear and understandable prophetic witness to the
presence of God to the world.
