Sister Patricia Scalese professed perpetual vows as a Sister, Servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at a Eucharistic liturgy held at the IHM Center in Scranton on April 26, 2003.

A native of Dunmore and the daughter of Eleanor and the late Ross Scalese, Sr. Patricia entered the IHM Congregation in 1994. Since 1997 she has been serving at Sacred Heart Junior/Senior High School in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, previously as a music teacher and campus minister and now as the director of religious formation.

She holds a bachelor degree of music from Marywood College and is presently pursuing a master of arts degree in pastoral ministry from Boston College.
